Keep model identity when changing the sales name
Create separate columns for your own item code, customer-facing local name, Glassy model name and current product link. A shorter sales name can be useful, but should not replace the source reference. Keep the five-arm 65 cm model and the nine-arm 75 cm model separate even if you describe both as a classic candelabra.
Attach the relevant image to each row. Copies of one photograph in different folders do not create different products, and different camera angles do not necessarily show different models. If identification is uncertain, compare the links with the manufacturer before finalising the sales record.
Separate unit conversion from size selection
Retain the source measurement and its unit. If your market uses another unit, show the conversion in a second field rather than replacing the original with a rounded sales value. Body height, diameter and the height of a finished floral arrangement describe different things; state exactly which dimension is being translated.
For a 10 cm diameter cylinder, diameter alone does not select the required height. Record that choice in the same row. Mark an unconfirmed measurement as an open question instead of assigning a convenient default. Do not derive a new dimension from the photograph or a model name.
Do not expand the contents during translation
A collection, one item and a set are not interchangeable. Describe set contents from the confirmed product record, not from every piece visible in a collection photograph. Keep the material separate from the finish name so a gold-coloured appearance is not translated into a claim of solid gold.
If inclusion of candles, flowers, plates or textiles is unclear, do not add them to the sales description. The person preparing local copy and the person quoting the order should check the same scope. Accurate vocabulary is useful only when it still describes the agreed item.
Compare the customer record with the purchase list
Before sending the enquiry, compare model link, size, finish, quantity and set contents in both records. Add a review date internally. If the source page changes, do not silently continue using an old screenshot; ask which information is current and update the affected description.
Send Glassy the source model link alongside your own item code. The sheet is a communication aid, not a stock reservation or delivery guarantee. Suitability, quantities and destination still need confirmation in the current enquiry. The linked catalogue examples below let you compare real models.
